As you get further in competition, does it matter if you’re not the first one to complete the challenge? The new challenges come out while we’re still in school and even then, neither of the people on my team are free on Thursday evenings. We always do it on Friday instead which still gains us the maximum points but we’re worried that we’ll be at a disadvantage to the others who are able to do it on Thursdays.
[EDIT, Harry: For the very last challenge at least speed will be important, and you need to set aside time on the day it comes out to stand the best chance. For challenges 7, 8 and 9 we may have deadlines on the Thursday, but that will depend a bit on how tight the field is at the top of the leaderboard. We are sorry to those who have other things on Thursdays, but we do need to tighten things a bit as we go into the last few challenges!]
